Upon receiving the Undergraduate Application, we will confirm that your application has been received and inform you if your application is complete or if you are missing items. At the appropriate time, we will notify you of our admission and merit scholarship decisions. Application for Admission Timetable
December 2 - Early Action Deadline - Advantages to applying early:
Admission/scholarship notification mailed no later than December 16.
Academic departments with special scholarships or selective programs may limit candidates to those who have applied by the Early Action Deadline.
Students admitted under the Early Action Deadline have until May 1 to commit to Evansville. However, those who deposit early qualify for priority housing selection, orientation, academic advising, and registration.
February 3 - Regular Application Deadline
Admission/scholarship notification mailed no later than February 17.
Applications for admission received after February 3 are accepted on a space-available basis. The University of Evansville reserves the right to close the application period after February 3.
March 10 - Financial Aid Application Deadline
All admitted students should submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for additional financial assistance from the University of Evansville, federal, and state sources. Types of aid include grants, student loans, and work-study.
Financial aid award notifications are mailed beginning in mid-March.
May 1 - Deposit Deadline
Admitted students must submit a $300 admission deposit* to secure a place in the freshman class and reserve a room in a residence hall. This deposit is refundable until May 1, 2014.
After May 1, deposits are accepted on a space-available basis.
*By submitting the $300 deposit, you are indicating UE is your final college choice. If your enrollment intentions change after submitting the deposit, you must write or e-mail UE's Office of Admission informing the staff of your intent to cancel your enrollment. Your deposit will be refunded if written notice of cancellation is received in the Office of Admission by May 1 for the fall semester or November 1 for the spring semester.
